The 2019-2020 program year’s initial project submission window for the Illinois Solar for All: Residential Solar, Community Solar, and Non-Profit and Public Facilities sub-programs opened on Wednesday, September 4, 2019, and closed on Tuesday, September 17, 2019.
Based on the total incentive value for the submitted projects, the Project Selection Protocol is necessary for the Community Solar sub-program.
As the incentive values for the projects submitted for the Residential Solar sub-program are significantly below the 2019-2020 program year budget, the Project Selection Protocol will not be necessary for this sub-program. The Residential Solar sub-program will reopen application submissions on Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at 9 a.m. CT, after which Approved Vendors are welcome to submit batches of projects on a first-come, first-served basis until Sunday, May 31, 2020, or until the annual sub-program budget is exhausted, whichever comes first.
As the incentive values for the projects submitted for the Non-Profit and Public Facilities sub-program are slightly below the 2019-2020 program year budget, the Project Selection Protocol will not be necessary for this sub-program. On Thursday, October 24, 2019, after the project review and cure periods are complete, the Illinois Solar for All Program Administrator will announce the available budget for this sub-program. The Non-Profit and Public Facilities sub-program will then reopen for project submissions on Friday, October 25, 2019, at 9 a.m. CT. Batches of projects submitted by Approved Vendors at this time will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.
