The Part I Submission Window opened for the Community Solar Pilot Request for Proposals on Thursday, October 24, 2019, and suppliers can now submit their qualification materials. Part I Proposals are due by 12 p.m. CT on Wednesday, November 6, 2019. As the Part I Proposal submission process is entirely online, login credentials are necessary to submit a proposal. If you do not have login credentials, please submit a request for login credentials.
The Illinois Power Agency (IPA) is conducting a competitive procurement event in fall 2019 for the purchase of Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) from Low-Income Community Solar Pilot Projects under 15-year contracts. Projects selected through this RFP process will receive a $/REC price determined through a competitive bidding process for the RECs purchased by the IPA. This procurement event is managed by a different Procurement Administrator, and more information is available on the Procurement Administrator’s website.
