The Illinois Solar for All Program Administrator has updated the Project Selection Protocol. The update clarifies an inaccuracy in the 2020-2021 program year’s Project Selection Protocol, which stated on page 25 that, “If the cumulative incentive value for the entire portfolio, after balancing on group, has <30% below or above the 250 kW threshold, select projects in the underrepresented category until 30% is reached.”
The inaccuracy surrounds the citation of “250 kW threshold,” as it contradicts a prior statement on page 16, which lists “Project Size (500 kW)” as the Community Solar attribute that is assessed and, if necessary, balanced during the General Selection Stage.
Therefore, the previously cited sentence on page 25 has been corrected and now reads as, “If the cumulative incentive value for entire portfolio, after balancing on group, has <30% below or above the 500 kW threshold, select projects in underrepresented category until 30% is reached.”
