To rectify an error made during the Project Selection Process for the Illinois Solar for All: Community Solar sub-program on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, a corrected General Selection Stage Waitlist has been created. The corrected General Selection Stage Waitlist, the recording of the new randomization, and the seed values used in the randomization are available.
During the General Selection stage, after the budget was fully allocated, there were four remaining projects. Three of those projects had a score of 8.5 (P-3452, P-3456, and P-3495), and one had a score of 9.25 (P-3463). As project P-3463 had the highest score at 9.25, it should have been listed at the top of the General selection stage waitlist. The next step in the process was to order the projects by score before selecting the tied projects for randomization. This step was mistakenly skipped, resulting in the randomization of only two projects (P-3452 and P-3456), when it should have included all three projects with a score of 8.5 (including P-3495).
To correct this error, the Illinois Solar for All Program Administrator has done a new randomization, and the General Selection Stage Waitlist has been re-ordered based on the project scores and the new randomization.
