Illinois Solar for All has released the updated design and response to stakeholder feedback for the Bright Neighborhoods initiative.
The updated design for the 2024-2025 program year includes the following adjustments to support the goals of the initiative:
- A self-attestation form as an income verification method for eligible residents residing in HUD Qualified Census Tracts
- Updated goals for received intake forms, referrals, and installations in each community
- Integration of the site pre-screening survey into the income-eligibility intake form to improve the participant experience

- August 27, 2024: Questions about the Bright Neighborhoods RFP are due to Bright@illinoisSFA.com
- September 16, 2024: Proposal submission deadline
- October 7, 2024: Selected Approved Vendors announced
- September 17, 2024 – April 30, 2025: Household enrollment period for Bright Neighborhoods
