Illinois Solar for All (ILSFA) has updated the income eligibility requirements for the Illinois Solar for All: Residential Solar and Community Solar sub-programs.
To participate in Illinois Solar for All, households need to have an income that does not exceed 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI). Starting in the 2025-2026 program year, Illinois Solar for All will update the income thresholds annually, in accordance with the IPA Act, as amended by Public Act 103-1066.
The ILSFA Program Administrator will validate income verification based on the date of the signature on the submitting party’s Certification and Consent form. Any Certification and Consent forms signed before June 1, 2025, will be subject to the previous income thresholds, and any signed after May 31, 2025, will be subject to the current income thresholds.
