Illinois Solar for All has initiated the Project Selection Protocol for the Illinois Solar for All: Community Solar sub-program for the 2025-2026 program year.
Rubrics are calculated based on the distribution of eligible projects in each prioritization category, as described in the Project Selection Protocol. There are two scoring rubrics for the Community Solar sub-program provided:
- The first rubric includes the entire portfolio of income-eligible Community Solar projects submitted within the sub-program during the initial submission window
- The second rubric isolates Environmental Justice Communities (EJC) projects submitted within the Community Solar sub-program during the initial submission window

Random Selection
The Illinois Solar for All program will conduct a live random selection on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 9 a.m. CT. Approved Vendors and other interested individuals are invited to join remotely. Register to attend the livestream.
