The Illinois Solar for All (ILSFA) program will no longer accept new projects for the Residential Solar (Small and Large) sub-programs after 12 p.m. CT, as the combined budget has been fully allocated to submitted projects. However, the rolling submission will remain open for Residential Solar (Large) projects within the Environmental Justice Communities, as $1.59M in funds are still available in that carveout.
Any Residential Solar (Small and Large) projects submitted during the rolling submission window that exceeded the available funds have been added to a waitlist for the remainder of the 2025-2026 program year. If a project is dropped, the ILSFA program will accept projects from the waitlist on a first-come, first-served basis. At the end of the 2025-2026 program year, the ILSFA program will retire the waitlist, and projects must be resubmitted upon window openings in the 2026-2027 program year.
