Illinois Solar for All (ILSFA) is requesting stakeholder feedback on proposed updates of the Approved Vendor Manual and the Project Selection Protocol for the upcoming 2026-2027 Program Year.

Approved Vendor Manual

The Approved Vendor Manual provides detailed guidance for Approved Vendors on the intent, requirements, and processes of the ILSFA program. A list of substantive changes to the Approved Vendor Manual is outlined in the Approved Vendor Manual Request for Stakeholder Feedback document.

Project Selection Protocol

The Project Selection Protocol is triggered when applications in the initial project submission window exceed the available annual funding for a given ILSFA sub-program. A list of substantive changes to the Project Selection Protocol is outlined in the Project Selection Protocol Request for Stakeholder Feedback document.

How To Share Feedback

Stakeholders and other interested parties are encouraged to review the changes and provide feedback on both documents. Please note that changes to program requirements will not take effect until the next program year commences.

All stakeholder feedback received will be made public and posted on the Program’s website. However, should a commenter seek to designate any portion of its response as confidential, that commenter should provide both public and redacted versions. Independent of that designation, if the ILSFA program determines that a response contains confidential information that should not be disclosed, it reserves the right to provide its own redactions.

The ILSFA program has outlined the changes in the Request for Stakeholder Feedback documents. Responses are due by April 14 at 5 p.m. CT and should be sent to Comments@illinoisSFA.com.
