Illinois Solar for All has released the updated Initiative Design and Response to Stakeholder Feedback for the Home Repairs and Upgrades initiative for the 2026-2027 Program Year. The following adjustments were made to support the goals of the initiative:
- Removing the “Administrative Fee” from the initiative
- Splitting “Water Grounding (100/200 amps)” into two categories: “Water Grounding (100 amps)” and “Water Grounding (200 amps)”
The Home Repairs and Upgrades initiative will begin accepting applications during the Residential Solar (Small) sub-program initial submission window. If Home Repairs and Upgrades project submissions exceed the available budget, Project Selection will score and select projects in accordance with each respective prioritization stage until the Home Repairs and Upgrades Pilot budget is met. Approved Vendors are invited to apply for these additional incentives on behalf of participants who face site-readiness barriers to solar installation. For instructions on submitting projects, review the posted Home Repairs and Upgrades Initiative Design.
