The Illinois Power Agency (IPA) has partnered with Griffin & Strong to conduct a Racial Disparity and Availability Study examining access to and participation in the Illinois clean energy sector by minority businesses and workers.
As part of this effort, Griffin & Strong will gather insights from clean energy companies, organizations, and other community stakeholders through various engagement methods. One method includes one-on-one interviews with business owners to better understand their experiences navigating opportunities within the state’s clean energy sector, particularly in relation to the IPA’s programs and procurements.
Participants will be randomly selected and may be contacted via phone and email to participate in an interview. If you are contacted by a team member from Griffin & Strong, we encourage you to respond, as your perspective is important.
We strongly encourage Equity Eligible Contractors, Approved Vendors, and Designees to participate in this process. Your feedback will play a critical role in informing Griffin & Strong’s analysis and helping develop meaningful recommendations to improve access and strengthen programs and procurement practices.
