The Illinois Solar for All: Residential Solar (Small) sub-program project submission window closes on September 25, 2026, at 5 p.m. CT. Part I Applications must be batched and submitted before this window closes.
If eligible projects submitted during the initial submission window exceed the available sub-program budget of $8,884,790.74, Residential Solar (Small) project selection will occur on January 13, 2027. If sub-program funding remains after the window closes, a rolling submission window for Residential Solar (Small) projects will open on October 12, 2026. Interested parties may monitor the 2026-2027 Residential Solar (Small) page of the Project Dashboard for the volume of applicable project submissions.
Projects submitted during the rolling submission window are considered on a first-come, first-served basis until May 31, 2027, or until the sub-program budget is fully utilized, whichever comes first.
