The Illinois Solar for All: Community Solar sub-program project submission window closes on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 5 p.m. CT. Part I Applications must be batched and submitted before this window closes.
If eligible projects submitted during the initial submission window exceed available sub-program funding, Community Solar project selection will occur on December 17, 2026. Interested parties may monitor the 2026-2027 Community Solar page of the Project Dashboard for the volume of applicable project submissions.
If sub-program funding remains after the window closes, a rolling submission window for Community Solar projects will open on Monday, October 26, 2026. Projects submitted during the rolling submission window are considered on a first-come, first-served basis until May 31, 2027, or until the sub-program budget is fully utilized, whichever comes first.
