Clean Energy Equity Summit - Illinois Solar for All

In collaboration with Illinois Shines and the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO), Illinois Solar for All is hosting the Clean Energy Equity Summit at John A. Logan College, located at 700 Logan College Dr, Carterville, IL, on August 20-21, 2025.

Day One’s focus is “Funding and Financing” and will feature presentations covering DCEO grants, including the Equitable Energy Future Grant, Community Solar Energy Sovereignty Grant, and the Energy Transition Community Grant programs, along with low-interest financing through the Illinois Finance Authority. There will also be break-out sessions covering elements of the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act (CEJA) geared toward the workforce and contractors.

Day Two’s theme is “Programs and Projects” and will cover the Illinois Shines and Illinois Solar for All programs, the Equity Accountability System, and opportunities for contractors through the CEJA Contractor Accelerator. Opportunities to network with program administration staff, contractors, and workforce entities will be offered both days.

This two-day event is free to attend. On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, presentations will be from 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., and on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Attendees who wish to attend both days must register for each day separately.
