Selected Projects and Next Steps for the Community Solar Sub-Program - Illinois Solar for All

*On May 20, 2022, the Illinois Solar for All: Community Solar sub-program selected projects list for the 2021-2022 program year was updated.

*On November 1, 2021, a corrected General Selection Stage Waitlist was created to rectify an error made during the Project Selection Process on Wednesday, October 27, 2021. The recording of the new randomization and the seed values used in the randomization are also available.

The tables of the 2021-2022 program year selected projects for the Illinois Solar for All: Community Solar sub-program are available. These projects are subject to review and approval by the Illinois Commerce Commission (ICC).

Next Steps

The last two projects selected in the Community Solar sub-program have incentive values greater than the remaining annual sub-program budget available. The Approved Vendors for these projects have several available options for moving forward. A final list of selected projects for the 2021-2022 program year will be available once the Approved Vendors decide their course of action, and the Community Solar sub-program’s budget has been fully allocated.

Rolling Application Submissions

As a reminder, because the total incentive values of submissions to the Illinois Solar for All: Residential Solar sub-program did not exceed the Residential Solar sub-program’s remaining budget for the 2021-2022 program year, the Residential Solar sub-program reopened for application submissions on June 22, 2021. Approved Vendors are welcome to submit batches of projects on a first-come, first-served basis until May 31, 2022, or until the Residential Solar sub-program’s budget is exhausted, whichever comes first.

For the first nine months of the program year, 25% of the Residential Solar sub-program’s budget will be reserved for 1-4 unit building projects. Any funds that aren’t used in this carveout by February 28, 2022, will be released for contracts by any eligible Residential Solar project.

Random Selection Seed Values

The five seed values for randomization for each score are available. These seed values were provided by the computing system time in microseconds at the moment of script execution.
