The Illinois Solar for All (ILSFA) program received an unprecedented number of single-family and 2-4-unit applicants in the Illinois Solar for All: Residential Solar sub-program, which is full for 2025. It’s the first time in the program’s history that it has reached full capacity for small residential projects. It’s a huge leap towards helping more residents save money on their electric bills!
We encourage homeowners interested in on-site solar to connect with an approved solar company to determine if their home is eligible. Residents seeking installations will likely need to wait until more program funding is available in 2026.
